Good Afternoon EricI am writing to let you know how much our department appreciates the detailed work your company did on getting the used pumper-rescue truck ready for delivery to us. We never saw it before we picked it up and I want to tell you your shop went above and beyond what we expected. You always want things to turn out good and I want you to know we were extremely pleased with what we saw on arrival. Most salesmen will tell you anything to sell a vehicle, but everything you told us was on target and probably above standard. We very much appreciate that.Your shop saw to every detail that could have been addressed and took care of them. You took care of many issues that alot of dealers would overlook. All we had to do to put this unit in service was load our equipment. We had a small mechanical problem on the way home and your shop was ready to send a tech 120 miles to help resolve the problem before we got it fixed. That says alot for your character. We got the truck loaded, put in service, and it has been on vehicle accidents already. Performed just like it should. Our department members were completely blown away when they say this truck for the first time. They couldn’t believe what they saw in this used truck. We feel we got a very good deal and were treated fairly. I would like to say that I would highly recommend your company to any department that is interested in purchasing used fire/rescue equipment.Again, THANK YOU for everything your company did for our small department. Your efforts will not be forgotten.Sincerely,Tim BurkhartTrustee-TreasurerDale Township Fire Department

Erik,
I read through some of the feedback from many of your customers and they all say the thing that to me is the most important, dedication and commitment. When you and I first talked about the Pierce aerial I thought how hard can it be! Well as all of the people involved know things weren’t quite as easy as it sounded,(due to N.J.laws) but all turned out great.
Erik I have to say all the times we talked and kept in touch it all payed off, the Chester Vol. Fire Co. are the proud operators of a 1999 Pierce 105′ ladder.
Well for all the times we were communicating in one form or another I can’t wait to meet you sometime in person because you are the type of person that makes me feel that you are a CLOSE FRIEND.Thanks again

Thank you so much for helping me on the pumper truck. Many people would have ignored me because it was not their BIG SALE. PEOPLE LISTEN TO ME, this is one GREAT GUY!!!! This was an old retired truck that was better than described and Erik was great and very helpful the whole time. I am in Central Texas and have been in a terrible drought for several years so I bought this truck for fire protection for my ranch. I deal with lots of folks everyday and it’s really refreshing to run across a guy like Erik.

Hey Erik, We made it home with the 96 PIERCE Truck we both through you; IT WAS Just as you explained only nicer. When we got to the station to pick it up the other guys with me could not believe how nice it really was and said that the pictures did not really do this truck any justice, as it was by far nicer than they thought. The process in which we went through you from start to finish was one of the smoothest transactions we had in a long time, and will recommend you to anybody that was in the market for a Fire Truck.
A Big Thank You From The Fessenden Fire Dept.

Well just wanted to touch base with you and let you know we are very pleased with the truck it has met or exceeded our expectations in every way. Erik, This is the white truck we got from you. As you can see we have done a little work on it. We hope to put it in service Monday. We are extremely pleased with it. Runs and pumps GREAT and with the “face lift” we gave it, from 10 feet away it looks like a brand new one. We have had a lot of compliments on it and have passed your web address on to several.
Thanks Again

Erik, It has been a pleasure doing business with you again. It was cool hearing that our department purchased the first piece of apparatus you had ever sold. Well, another job well done on our purchase of our latest apparatus. I think this was the quickest we have ever purchased anything. It is good to know that I can fully trust your opinion in the fire truck market. I will keep in touch because you never know what you will run across.

Erik, It’s been a number of months now, since we first started this deal on the 2001 Pierce we purchased from your company. Texasfiretrucks has been a pleasure to work with. I am sure when we are looking for our next pumper, tanker or rescue you will be our first contact. I’m only sorry I didn’t have more time to spend in Texas when I was down. The truck looks even better than when I saw it five months ago. We are very proud of our purchase, no one believes the truck is five years old. For a small rural department, this is definitely the way to upgrade your apparatus, while operating on a tight budget. We will be showing off this truck every chance we get and letting others know where we got it. Once again Erik THANKS for everything you have done for us. I will be staying in contact with you and your website.

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about a salesman named Eric that went above and beyond the call of duty. Eric works for Texas Fire Trucks and we purchased a truck from his company. Eric not only worked with us for the sale of this truck, but also worked liked he was buying this truck for himself. He is one of the most considerate salesmen that I have ever had dealings with.

Thanks for all your assistance in selling our 1988 E-One Pumper. We sold this truck much quicker than we expected and received a very good price. I would recommend anyone selling a fire apparatus to use Texas Fire Trucks. This proved to be easier than we expected. The Richmond Heights Fire Department was referred to Texas Fire Trucks through a neighboring Fire Department that was very happy with the service that this company provided in the sale of their pumper. We contacted Erik Petocz of Texas Fire Trucks on April 21, 2005 about possibly selling a 1986 Pierce Arrow pumper for the City of Richmond Heights. Erik was very helpful with what information would be needed to get our pumper on his web site. With in a few days Erik had color pictures and information on his web site about our pumper. By May 15, 2005, two different departments had contacted us about possibly purchasing our pumper. On May 20, 2005 our pumper was sold to Fairfax, MO. During the entire process Erik kept in constant phone contact asking if he could be of any further assistance and updating us on any contacts he had. If I had any questions, Erik would either answer them right away, our return a call with the answer in a timely manner. He also provided the contracts that were needed to complete the sale. I would highly recommend using his service. If I ever another truck to sell I would definitely contact Erik.
Sincerely,
Doug Allen, Battalion Chief

Thanks for all your help in selling our rather unique piece of apparatus in such a short amount of time. We were able to get the amount we were hoping to get for the truck. It could not have been a more simple process from start to finish. Thanks again and you can expect to hear from me next time we plan to sell another piece of apparatus.

Our departments first contact with TexasFireTrucks LTD was in 2002. We were interested in a truck we seen on the web site (texasfiretrucks.com). After talking to Erik on the phone, we made arrangements to travel to Houston to look at the truck. It was all Erik represented it to be and more. We bought the truck that same day. Working with Erik is a breeze. He shoots straight and explains everything so there is no misunderstanding. Since 2002, we have purchased a total of three trucks through Texas Fire Trucks LTD. We have been so pleased with our dealings with Erik, when we are ready to purchase another vehicle, guess where we are going first? Right back to TexasFireTrucks!

Our experience with TexasFireTrucks.Com was painless. I was able to complete my day to day operations as an Assistant Chief in St. Louis County and not have the unnecessary worries of trying to get a fair price for our used trucks. Until I found out about your website I spent a lot of time trying to come up with a way to get better than “trade in value” and that’s exactly what TexasFireTrucks.com did for me. I look forward to listing with you in the future.

It has been a pleasure doing business with you and Texas Fire Trucks over the past few years. Our first engine purchased through Texas Fire Trucks was much more truck than we bargined for. We inquired about a truck listed on the website and after some discussion, Erik made us aware of a pending trade on some better, newer units. We ended up spending more than we had anticipated, but purchased a pumper much greater than we ever expected. We were looking at an early 80’s, off-brand, canopy cab pumper and ended up with a 89 Pierce Lance enclosed cab with low mileage for not much more. We had a very minor problem with this unit which Texas Fire Trucks took care of immediately. We feel the problem may have gotten overlooked because we were in a rush to get the truck. This truck is serving our community well and has not had any further problems. A year later, we were fortunate enought to be in the used truck market again. We contacted Erik first and he had a trade for 3 local trucks just developing. We purchased the oldest of the 3 trucks immediately after inspection. This truck was a 92 Pierce Dash with less miles than the previous truck. This pumper also continues to serve our community as our “First-Out” engine. As our community and department continue to grow, we will always depend on Erik and Texas Fire Trucks for quality, used apparatus. His up-front, honest demeanor and his willingness to work with customers has instilled great confidence in his service. We recently sold fire equipment through Texas Fire Trucks and the selling side is just as respectful as the purchasing side of Texas Fire Trucks. We keep Erik informed of our upcoming needs and future plans and he keeps us in mind on quality apparatus that may fit our needs. Thanks Texas Fire Trucks for dedicated and honest service.
